All leathers used by Maison Siccardi come from the recovery of the food supply chain. Therefore, we use leathers that would otherwise be destined for landfills, whose traceability is guaranteed by their provenance from a supply chain traditionally subject to a high number of controls.

All Maison Siccardi suppliers have achieved the maximum score required by the international LOW – Leather Working Group – certification by developing and maintaining a protocol that evaluates environmental compliance and corporate sustainability practices, ultimately contributing to improving the leather industry.

Vegetable – Tanned Leather in Tuscany

Most of our suppliers belong to the Consortium for Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather, an organization that regulates, protects, and guarantees the production of vegetable-tanned leather in Tuscany (i.e., without the use of chromium or other metals) through the appropriate product label. This label is subject to compliance with the Technical Production Regulations issued by the Consortium, which all member tanneries are required to adhere to.
